One of the original Ale Trail-blazers, Batch was the first brewery to open in Marrickville back in 2013. It’s played a key role in Sydney’s indie brewery boom and given us iconic beers like their Marrickville Pale Ale, Pash The Magic Dragon sour and Elsie the Milk Stout.
Located just 2 minutes walk from Sydenham train/metro station, Batch is often the first stop for ale-loving adventurers. Inside, the venue is a laid-back warehouse affair with a mighty 20 beer taps pouring new beers weekly. You can’t miss the brewery in the back while out front the long-running Bifana Lab food truck serves great traditional Portuguese rolls, burgers, loaded fries and more (open Wednesday to Friday).
